Omar Wellington has always believed in the power of competition.
A Division 1 standout at Sacred Heart University, Omar spent years mastering his craft – not just as a player, but as a mentor to the next generation.
After college, he became a sought-after trainer, working with players from youth levels to the NBA, including names like Rick and Jalen Brunson, Dajuan Wagner, and many more.
But training with Omar was never about going through the motions.
It was about battling – even in the smallest drills. Every rep was a challenge. Every shot meant something.
Through thousands of hours in gyms, Omar realized something simple but powerful: Shooting is the great equalizer.
It didn’t matter if you were a pro, a young rookie, or a seasoned veteran – when it came down to it, shooters shoot.
That idea sparked a movement.
Omar began hosting open shootouts through his Shot Club, where players of all ages, sizes, and skill levels competed head-to-head, finding common ground in the purest form of the game: the shot.
But he didn’t stop there. Omar imagined a way to take the competition further – a faster, more continuous experience with the energy of a live game.
That vision led to the creation of The Well – a patented rebounding device system that keeps the ball moving, the players locked in, and the game alive.
And with that, Wellball was born.
Wellball isn’t just a new sport. It’s a new arena – where everyone, from elite athletes to first-timers, can compete, improve, and rise.
If you have the courage to step up and let it fly, you belong here.
Welcome to the future of competition. This is Wellball.
